Srikanth Navale appears as counsel in arbitrations involving Corporate Commercial and Contractual Disputes.
Srikanth has extensive experience in Tax and International Customs and Trade-related litigation and controversy, both in India and across the wider Asia-Pacific region. He had served as part of the counsel team for a State party in two significant investment treaty arbitrations involving Tax claims.
Spanning his 25+ years of experience, Srikanth has worked with leading multinational companies and firms like GE, Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. During this time, he has been involved in advising business on Tax-efficient supply chain restructuring, Tax and Transfer Pricing controversy management, and dispute resolution in various forms, including under the procedures available in Bilateral Tax treaties.
Based in Singapore, Srikanth also accepts appointments as Arbitrator for proceedings seated in Singapore, India and other jurisdictions.
Besides mainstream commercial disputes, Srikanth stays close to the developments in the world of Smart Contracts, the Digital Marketplace, Block Chain, Cryptocurrency, AI and ODR.
Srikanth read law from the National Law School of India University and is an MBA from Cranfield University in the UK. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration from the National University of Singapore.
Srikanth is currently empanelled as an arbitrator with the Indian Council of Arbitration, and is a “Fellow” of both, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.”
